Return from the distilleries to a lounge made for an easy evening together. A bar with a refrigerator, billiards, shuffleboard, Golden Tee and two TVs keep the conversation going, with a poker alcove for another round. The Lodge is a smoke-free property.

Two dining tables seat 20, so everyone can share the same meal. The kitchen is equipped for group cooking with two islands, two ovens, two stoves, two dishwashers and two sinks. The Kentucky Derby bedroom offers a curbless shower, grab rails and a shower chair. A first-floor powder room also has accessibility features. The approach includes a gravel driveway and a concrete area near the house.

Bardstown and Bourbon Country, within easy reach

The Lodge is approximately 10 minutes from Bardstown, with four distilleries within about 15 minutes and Louisville’s airport approximately 45 minutes away. Plan time for distillery tours, downtown Bardstown and a relaxed meal back at the Lodge.

Drive times are approximate and vary with route and traffic. Book tours ahead and arrange a designated driver or transportation for tastings.

GOOD TO KNOW

Payments & policies

The booker must be at least 25 and remain for the entire stay. A signed rental agreement and photo ID are required. Fifty percent (50%) of the booking total is due at reservation. The remaining balance is due 60 days before arrival and is collected automatically. A $1,500 security deposit applies. Guests receive 97.00% of total booking charges, less a $100.00 cancellation fee, when cancellation occurs at least 60 days before arrival. No refunds are issued within 60 days of arrival.

Maximum occupancy is 20 guests, including adults and children. Pets and smoking are not allowed. Events, weddings and large parties are not permitted. Quiet hours begin at 10 p.m.

Standard check-in begins at 4 p.m. and check-out is by 10 a.m. Early check-in and late check-out may be available by advance arrangement. A retreat package is also available for groups that need additional time or retreat support at the property.
